Munitions work

Against Morag’s internal wishes she took up employment at the Dundee National Shell Factory. Such factories were opening all over the UK in response to the ‘Shell Crisis’ declared earlier in the year. Her family needed the money and as much as she was now against the war she hadn’t the courage to voice her opinion.
