RESCUING THE WOUNDED.

DUNDEE LAD WINS THE MILITARY MEDAL.

The Military Medal has been awarded to Private W. Watson, Seaforth Highlanders, son of Mrs Watson, 7 Park Terrace, Blackness Road, Dundee, for exceptional bravery in the field by carrying in wounded under heavy fire.

Pte. Watson, who is 19 years of age, enlisted fully eighteen months ago, and proceeded to France six months ago.

Prior to the outbreak of hostilities, he was employed as an apprentice compositor with Mr J. M’Corquodale, printer, Rattray Street.
