More about William Taylor McIntosh
When William enlisted he was sent for a routine medical examination. The Medical Board found that he had a permanently deformed right foot caused by an industrial accident at the Canadian Pacific Railway workshops in 1913. Further treatment would not improve this condition. The Board recommended that he be discharged as medically unfit. He was struck off strength 23.06.1916 and discharges as medically unfit at Winnipeg 13.07.1916.
William, his wife and young daughter emigrated to America 05.07.1923 via Blaine, WA before moving at some point to California, where he died in 1978.
