William Smith 30774 Royal Scots
DUNDEE ROYAL SCOT KILLED.
Private William Smith, Royal Scots, whose parents reside at 33 Wellgate, was posted missing on 30th July last, and has now been officially reported killed.
Private Smith, who was 23 years of age, joined the army in March, 1915, and prior to being reported missing had only been at the front for about three weeks. In civil life he was employed as a millworker in the Victoria Jute Works. A brother, Alexander, is also in the army.

DUNDEE ROYAL SCOT MISSING.
Mr Alexander Smith, 4 Park Wynd, Dundee, has received intimation that his brother, Private Wm. Smith, Royal Scots, who resided at the same address, has been missing since 30th July. The War Office communication states that inquiries are being instituted with a view of ascertaining if the missing man is a prisoner.
Private Smith is 23 years of age. He had only been a short at the front, having joined in March of this year. He was formerly a millworker at Queen Victoria Works.
