DUNDEE MAN WINS MILITARY MEDAL.
Private William Reid, 8th Black Watch, son of Mr and Mrs William Reid, 107 Strathmartine Road, Dundee, has been awarded the Military Medal. Private Reid joined the 4th Black Watch originally, but was transferred to another battalion. He has seen four years’ service in France. In civil life he was an apprentice moulder in Victoria Foundry.
