William Fife Proctor Captain Scottish Horse
RATTRAY OFFICER DIES FROM WOUNDS.
Official notification has now been received that Captain William F. Proctor, 1st Scottish Horse, who was on Wednesday reported dangerously wounded at the Dardanelles, had died on Monday. He was a former Territorial officer, and was in charge of the gun section of the Scottish Horse. The eldest son of the late Captain Allan Proctor and of Mrs Proctor, Alva Cottage, Rattray, he was a partner in the firm of Messrs David Proctor & Sons, Ashgrove and Keithbank Works. He leaves a widow and four children.
