DUNDEE ROYAL SCOT KILLED.
Information has been received by Mr William Butterfield, 24 Campbell Street, Lochee, that his son Corporal William Butterfield, has been killed in action.
The deceased corporal, who was 21 years of age, enlisted in the Royal Scots about twenty months ago.
He was well known in Kirkcaldy, having prior to enlistment been employed with the Kirkcaldy Shipping Company.
