Dundee People’s Journal 31st December 1918
William Frow was the son of Mr James and Mary Frow of Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire and joined the Royal Naval Reserve at Middlesbrough in May 1915. He served in several minesweeping vessels throughout the war. His records show that he was marked as “Run” from HM Trawler David Ogilvy in Dundee in November 1918 but this was expunged and replaced with Discharged Dead. He died in an accident and is buried in the Dundee Eastern Necropolis. His brother was Albert Frow of 13 Gurnee Street, Scunthorpe.
