Thomas Nelson 56032 Welsh Regiment
DUNDEE MILITARY MEDALLIST.
Private Thomas Nelson, Welsh Regiment, has been awarded the Military Medal for gallantry and devotion to duty on the field. His wife resides at 227 Hawkhill, Dundee.
Pte. Nelson, enlisted in May, 1915, in the Motor Transport Section, but was later transferred to the Welsh Regiment. He has been three years in France, has been twice wounded, and is at present in hospital in England.
Prior to enlistment he was employed as a butcher with the Dundee Eastern Co-Operative Society. His brother, Private William Nelson, is serving with the R.F.A. in France.
