Cpl James Sturrock has no known grave but is remembered on the Loos Memorial. He is believed to be the brother of Cpl David R. Sturrock, WR/282742, Light Railway Coy, Royal Engineers.

James Reid Sturrock   11147   Scots Guards

Private James Reid Sturrock, 1st Battalion Scots Guards, reported missing since 27 September 1915, has now been officially reported killed.  He was a plasterer before he enlisted, and has two other brothers serving with the colours.  He leaves a wife and two of a family.
