Intelligence has just been received that Private Roderick M’W. Thomson, 9th Black Watch, was accidentally killed in France on 11th December.  Private Thomson, who was 19 years of age, joined the colours shortly after the commencement of hostilities, prior to which he was employed as a labourer.  He resided at 9 Arthur Street, Dundee.

THOMSON—Killed in France, on the 11th December 1915, Private Roderick Thomson, Black Watch, eldest son of Private David Thomson, Black Watch (R.H.), 9 Arthur Street, Dundee.
