DUNDEE SOLDIER DIES ABROAD.

News has been received by Mrs Farnan, 17 Brook Street, Dundee, that her husband, Private Peter Farnan, Black Watch, has died abroad.

Private Farnan, who was 25 years of age, was a reservist, and was called up when war broke out.  He was wounded in France and on recovering from his wound he was sent on garrison duty abroad.  Before the war he was employed in Bower Mill.  Private Farnan leaves a widow and a child of two years.
