More about William Morrison

William shares a burial plot with Pte George Chapman Stevens 772195,  also of the 87th Battalion, Canadian Infantry and who died the same day.

Prior to William emigrating to Canada in 1909 he was employed as Clerk in a Jute & Linen Merchants office in Dundee. When he emigrated to Canada he initially lived with his cousin John & Jemima Walker at 661 King St, Hamilton, Ontario. Both his brothers served during the Great War, Gunner Charles Watson Morrison, 133887, 40th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery, who was killed in action 15.10.1917.  David served as a Clerk 1st Class, 78802 with the Royal Air Force and retuned home safely.
