John Mitchell 24705 Royal Scots Fusiliers
Lance-Corporal John Mitchell, who was killed in action on 10th October, was a son of Mr and Mrs Charles Mitchell, 94 Dens Road. He joined up in June, 1916, and had been 22 months in France. Lance-Corporal Mitchell was 20 years of age. Before enlisting he was employed by Francis East & Co., Maryfield Chair and Cabinet Factory, Dundee.
