More about James Milne
James Milne Jr of Bienfait was killed in action at Regina trench and has no known grave but is remembered on the Vimy Memorial. He was the son of James and I.H. Milne of Dundee. James was employed as a coal miner when he enlisted at Estevan. His wife Jane and their three children Elizabeth (Bessie) Alexander H. and Mary (Massie) returned to Scotland when he enlisted. Jane died in 1918 and the 3 children were raised by their grand-parents.
