David was the brother of Pte William Michie, 80047, 31st Battalion Canadian Infantry, and L/Cpl Alexander Blair Michie, 719, 9th Battalion Australian Infantry. Both brothers survived the war.
David shares a final resting place with Driver James Gray, T4/041286, 483rd Horse Transport Company, 27th Divisional Train, Army Service Corps, who died 05.10.1916 & Driver Charles Pridmore, T4/092247, 34th Reserve H.T. Park, Army Service Corps, who died 19.10.1916.
