At the time of David’s attestation his parents were residing at 27 Seymour St, Dundee, his mother is also listed as residing c/o David L. Burnett, 37 Hayswell Rd, Arbroath. According to a newspaper report David originally emigrated to Australia about 1909 but later went to Canada.
