Meldrum was the father of Flight Sgt Andrew Crawford Stark Robertson, R/93399, 419 Moose Squadron, Royal Canadian Air Force, who was killed in action 05.09.1942 whilst in action as part of the crew of Wellington Bomber BJ 602, VR-J. He has know known grave but is remembered on the Runnymede Memorial, Surrey, England.
