Mary F. Smith Queen Alexandra’s Imperial Nursing Services Reserve
Sister Mary F. Smith, Queen Alexandra’s Imperial Nursing Services Reserve, has been awarded the British Red Cross. Sister Smith, whose relatives reside at 2 Wedderburn Street, Dundee, is the youngest daughter of the late Mr Alexander Smith, merchant, Carnoustie. She was trained at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, and joined the Nursing Reserve three years ago. After a period of service at the War Hospital, Reading, Sister Smith was sent to Salonika in July of last year, and is at present stationed there.
