More about Martin Taylor

For reasons unknown this man is not listed on the original Dundee Roll of Honour, but is remembered on the Manhattan Works, Dundee Roll of Honour. He was a former pupil of Grove Academy and is also remembered on the schools war memorial. Martin was the brother of Pte George Taylor, Machine Gun Corps, who also served during the Great War and is believed to have returned home safely.

Pte. Martin Taylor, Seaforth’s youngest son of ex-Bailie and Mrs Taylor, Rockbank, previously reported seriously ill, is now officially reported as having died of wounds.
