Easson has no known grave but is remembered on the Vimy Memorial. He attested under the name of Edward Lindsay. Easson had five brothers who served in the Great War, three with the Canadian Army and two with the British Army, they were, Pte Frederick Lindsay, 229357, 4th Battalion Canadian Infantry, Armourer Corporal John Lindsay 106362, 1st Canadian Mounted Rifles, who died of wounds, 12 October 1916, Pte William Lindsay 922409, 200th Battalion, Canadian Infantry, Pte Charles Lindsay, 89337, 100th Field Ambulance, Royal Army Medical Corps and Driver Frank Lindsay, 56671, Machine Gun Corps.
