Joseph Watson Dare 202943 Yorkshire Regiment
Private Joseph Dare of the Yorkshires has been killed in action. He was 31 years of age, had been eighteen months in the army and three months in France.
Private Dare was a son of Forfar parents. His father, the late Thomas Dare, lived at Zoar at one time. Joseph was employed as an upholsterer with Mr Pool but subsequently took up dentistry. His widow and son reside in Yorkshire. A brother, James, is serving in France.
