More about John Macpherson

John MacPherson was born in Dundee. Little information on him can be found although a Dundee born Second Steward named John MacPherson is listed as a member of several ships in 1915 his age is 10 years too young. The Lavernock was sunk by the German submarine UB-117 whilst on passage from Bilbao to Glasgow with cargo of iron ore and 25 crew were lost. John MacPherson is named on the Tower Hill Memorial in London.
