For reasons unknown John is not listed on the original Dundee Roll of Honour. He is the brother of Driver David Bullion, 22783, 26th Battery, 17th Brigade, RFA, Pte Edward Bullion, 2136407, 27th Battalion, Canadian Infantry and Drummer George Bullion, 2185, 2nd Battalion Black Watch, who was killed in action 06.04.1916.
John’s wife and son emigrated in 1917 to Ohio, USA, with the intention of making their family home there once the war was over.
