DUNDEE MILITARY MEDALLIST.
Bombardier John Bond, R.F.A., younger son of Mr and Mrs T. Bond Richmondles, Maryfield, Dundee, has been awarded the Military Medal for conspicuous bravery and devotion to duty under heavy shellfire on 27th May. In addition to his distinction he has been promoted from A./Bdr to Bombardier.
Prior to enlisting Bombardier Bond, was employed with Messrs J. & J. Hunter, solicitors, Reform Street, Dundee. His elder brother is also in France, serving with the M.T., A.S.C.
