John Fyfe   241623   Seaforth Highlanders

Mr George Fyfe, Newbigging, Monifieth, has received official information that his son, Private John Fyfe, Seaforth Highlanders, has been posted missing about 23rd March.  Private Fyfe is well known in the fruit trade of Dundee, having acted as buyer to Messrs D. Fyfe, Limited, Dundee, prior to his enlistment over two years ago.  He had been at the front for more than a year, and was expected home on leave soon.
