More about James McWalter

For reasons unknown James is not listed on the original Dundee Roll of Honour, although his father is recorded on the roll. James is listed as McWALTERS on C.W.G.C. but listed as McWALTER on S.D.G.W. & the Scottish National War Memorial.

He was the son of Stoker Joseph Richard McWalter, 1306V, H.M.S. Falmouth, who died of wounds 20.08.1916, when the ship was torpedoed by German Submarine U-66.
