James Guthrie Gavin Highland Light Infantry
DUNDEE WOMAN HAS THREE SONS WOUNDED.
Mrs Gavin, 23 Kinloch Street, Dundee, has three sons serving with the colours, all of whom have been wounded.
Mrs Gavin yesterday received official intimation that her youngest son, Private James Gavin, of the 2d Highland Light Infantry, had been wounded. No details are given. Private Gavin is 21 years age, and has been a member of the H.L.I. for about three years. He was formerly employed in the warehouse of Messrs Malcolm Brothers, house furnishers, Commercial Street.
Mrs Gavin two other sons, Private Harry Gavin and Drummer Gavin, of the K.O.S.B., have been previously reported wounded.
