FITZPATRICK___Reported missing on 21st March 1918, now officially reported killed on or since that date, Pte. James Fitzpatrick, 3rd Highland Field Ambulance, youngest son of Mr and Mrs Alex Fitzpatrick 109 Logie Street Lochee.

James was the brother of John, 43070 & David, 2530, who both served with the Royal Scots, with both brothers returning home safely.

DUNDEE SOLDIER’S FATE.

Mr Alex. Fitzpatrick, 109 Logie Street, Lochee, has been officially notified that his son, Private James Fitzpatrick, R.A.M.C., who was posted missing on March 21, 1918, is now presumed to have been killed on that date.  Private Fitzpatrick, who had been previously wounded was twenty-three years of age.  He was employed in the calender department of Cox Brothers, Ltd., Lochee.
