MILITARY CROSS FOR DUNDEE OFFICER.
Lieut. J. A. Edwards, Royal Scots, a son of Mr and Mrs D. Edwards, 14 Thomson Street, Dundee, has been awarded the Military Cross, an honour which his brother, Lieut. A. L. C. Edwards, Black Watch, also received some time ago.
Lieut. J. A. Edwards who has gained the award for gallant work at Vimy Ridge, enlisted as a gunner in the R.F.A. in October, 1914, and obtained his commission last year. He has been wounded three times. Other two members of the family of Mr and Mrs Edwards are with the colours, viz. Private G. A. Edwards, Royal Scots, and Gunner James Edwards, R.F.A.
