Thomas has no known grave but is remembered on the Thiepval Memorial. He was the brother of Pte David Irvine, 43390, 2nd Battalion Royal Scots Fusiliers, who died of wounds, 17.10.1916. Also believed to be the brother of Cpt James Irvine, Royal Army Medical Corps.
