For reasons unknown this man is not listed on the original Dundee Roll of Honour.

Private Horace Shepherd, Seaforth Highlanders, was killed in action on 6th June.  His parents reside at 17 Dudhope Street, Dundee.  Private Shepherd, who was twenty-three years of age, joined up in 1916, and had been in France for over two years.  Prior to joining the army he was employed with Lindsay & Scott, glaziers, Victoria Road.  Two brothers are serving—Gunner John Shepherd, R.G.A., and Thomas in the Royal Navy.
