Henry is believed to be the brother of Driver Robert Waller Scrimgeour, Friends Ambulance Unit.

SCRIMGEOUR–November 10th, 1968, Henry Byrde (Harry), aged 76 years, beloved husband of Mrs. Isabel Scrimbeour, 3209 2nd St. S.W. Also surviving are two sons, Rev. David H. Scrimgeour, Sebastopol, California, Robert M., Calgary and a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Helen) Brink, Calgary; 10 grandchildren; two brothers, Robert W., Calgary and Dr. D. Muir Scrimgeour, London, England and a sister, Miss Grace Scrimgeour, Dundee, Scotland.

Born at Dundee, Scotland, Mr. Scrimgeour came to Alberta in 1913 and to Calgary in 1920. He was married to Isabel Watson at Redcliffe, Alberta on October 11, 1917. He was associated with Anglo American Exploration Company as an accountant for 22 years, retiring in 1957 and as an accountant with Ireland & Ireland, C.A. until April, 1968. He was an original member of Westbourne Baptist Church where he was active until the tie of his death.
