DUNDEE MAN PRESENTED WITH D.C.M.
Corporal G. H. Smith (Field Survey Corps), R.E., who was presented with his D.C.M. at Dudhope Castle, Dundee, yesterday, is a Dundonian, whose widowed mother resides at 123 Victoria Road Dundee.
Corporal Smith was awarded his decoration for an act of gallantry in France. His home is at 6 Bowhill Terrace, Edinburgh. He was employed as a sorter at the General Post Office in that city. Prior to that appointment he was attached to the postal service of Dundee, and his decoration will please his many Dundee friends.
