DUNDEE SERGEANT AWARDED D.C.M.
Sergeant G. Simpson, R.A.M.C. (Dundee Field Ambulance), who resides with his parents at 36 Benvie Road, Dundee, has been awarded the D.C.M. and the Territorial Efficiency Medal. Although he was recommended for the award before the armistice, he has just received the decoration. Sergeant Simpson is 27 years of age, and had been in France since early in 1915, having served as a Territorial prior to the outbreak of war. He is well known in Dundee junior football circles, and was a prominent member of Osbourne F.C. Prior to the war he was employed at the West Station.
