He is the brother of Driver David A. Bullion, 26th Battery, 17th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery, Cpl John Bullion, 10/5844, 2nd Dragoons, Royal Scots Greys, who died from wounds, 26.07.1917 & Drummer George Bullion, 2185, 2nd Battalion Black Watch, who was killed in action, 06.04.1916

Edward sailed to Canada with his elder sister, 20.12.1913. He stated that he was 3 years older than his actual age in order to be accepted into Canada without his parents who were intending to emigrate to Canada at a later date.

Edwards son George (Roy) joined the A.F. Flying  College in Winnipeg in 1941 and after training  was successful in passing out as a fully trained Pilot –  sent to Britain a few weeks later and was attached to 277 Squadron, Royal Canadian Air Force – served all through the war only to loose his life while flying in a Sortie over Singapore on 11th Dec., 1944 -his remains were never found but his name is inscribed on the Singapore Memorial  – Column 433.
