PRESTON, Ebenezer. At the Veteran’s Hospital in Ste.-Anne-de-Bellevue on Wednesday, September 12, 1984, aged ninety-three years, Ebenezer Preston, formerly of Lachine, Quebec. Veteran of World War I, Canadian Grenadier Guards, D.S.O.M & M BAR, beloved husband of the late Ellen Cameron, dear father of Steve Preston of RRI North Lancaster, Ontario, Mrs. Ellen Jowett of RRI North Lancaster, Ontario, Ian Preston of Sherbrooke, Quebec, and Constance (Mrs. Ted Munro) of Vancouver. Survived by one brother James Preston of Terrebonne, Quebec, and one sister Ella MacNab of Montreal, also survived by fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral Service in St. Andrew’s Church, Dalhousie Mills, interment in St. Andrew’s United Church Cemetery.
