Douglas Nicoll M.C. Lieutenant Royal Field Artillery
MILITARY CROSS FOR DUNDEE OFFICER.
Lieutenant Douglas Nicoll, Fife Battery, R.F.A., has been awarded the Military Cross. Lieutenant Nicoll, who is a son of the late Treasurer Nicoll, Dundee, is a director of W. & S. Strong, Limited. He received his commission in May, 1915, and went to France about a year afterwards, receiving his full lieutenancy a couple of months ago.
He has been twice slightly wounded. Lieutenant Nicoll is a well-known member of the Panmure Rugby Club. His brother, Second-Lieutenant Malcolm W. Nicoll, of the Black Watch, was seriously wounded some time ago, and is now at a convalescent home in England.
