MONTROSE CAMERON FALLS.
Another name has been added to the ever-increasing list of Montrose soldiers who have fallen in action. Mrs Scott, who resides at 37 Bents Road, Montrose, has been officially informed by the War Office that her son, Private David Scott, Cameron Highlanders, was killed in action on September 3. Previous to enlistment in the Camerons, Private Scott was employed as a gardener by Lord Elphinstone, Carberry Tower, Musselburgh. He was the son of the late Mr James Scott, Gannochy, Edzell.
