David died from heatstroke. He was the brother of Pte William Headridge Edmiston, 1081081, 20th Battalion Canadian Infantry, who died 06.08.1920, Gunner James Williamson Edmiston, 14404722, Royal Garrison Artillery and Sgt John Grant Edmiston, 1036186, 30th Company, Canadian Forestry Corps.
