More about David McGowan
For reasons unknown this man is not listed on the original Dundee Roll of Honour. His two brothers both served in the Great War, Cpl John McGregor McGowan, 164153 served with the 2nd Battalion, Canadian Machine Gun Corps and was awarded the Military Medal 02.11.1917. He survived the war. His other brother Pte James McGowan 5590, 1/7th Battalion, Black Watch was killed in action 13.11.1916.
