DUNDEE SOLDIER GAINS MILITARY MEDAL.
Mrs D. C. Lowe, who resides at Hope Cottage, 41 Rosebank Street, Dundee, has received intimation that her husband, Private D. C. Lowe, Highland Field Ambulance, has been awarded the Military Medal for conspicuous gallantry on 23rd April. Private Lowe is well known in Dundee swimming circles, and was a member of the Y.M.C.A. He enlisted in September, 1914, and has been on active service since May, 1915.
