David Anderson 4242 Highland Light Infantry
ST ANDREWS PRIVATE SHOT THROUGH THE HEAD.
News has been received at St Andrews of the death in France of Private David Anderson, 1st Battalion H.L.I.
He was employed on the golf links, and enlisted on 2d September. Private Spittal, a member of his corps, writes that Anderson was shot through the head and killed on 26th April. His watch and personal belongings will be sent to his parents, Mr and Mrs Anderson, South Street, St Andrews.
