DUNDEE LEADING SEAMAN
IS AWARDED MILITARY MEDAL.
Leading Seaman Charles Hutton, Royal Naval Division, whose mother resides at 14 Temple Lane, Dundee, has been awarded the Military Medal. In a letter home Leading Seaman Hutton, says :___”We went over the top and got 22 prisoners and two machine guns. There were a few medals, and I got the Military Medal.
Leading Seaman Hutton enlisted three years ago, and saw service at the Dardanelles before going to France. He was formerly employed as a calender worker.
