Charles Doyle 17709 Highland Light Infantry
KIRKCALDY MAN KILLED IN ACTION.
Private Charles Doyle, 12th Battalion of the Highland Light Infantry, has been killed in action. He was only 18 years of age, and was previously engaged in the Pannie Pit, Kirkcaldy.
His brother James, who was a reservist, rejoined his regiment, the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders. He was wounded in a recent engagement. Richard, another brother, enlisted in the Royal Field Artillery, and is at present in France.
