Alexander Wallace MM Royal Scots
Private Alexander Wallace, MM., Royal Scots, has been wounded for the fifth time. He is suffering from shrapnel wounds in the left elbow. Private Wallace was awarded the Military Medal for bravery in the field last year. He had been in France since 1914, having been present at the Mons retreat and the other big engagements which followed. The gallant soldier is 23 years of age, and his sister, Mrs A. Stewart, resides at 207 Perth Road, Dundee. Prior to enlisting Private Wallace was employed as a baker with Mr James M. Wallace, Blackness Road, Dundee.
