Alexander Served in Mesopotamia in June 1915 and was in Basra, Suez and Palestine in 1917. He returned home safely in 1919. He married his wife Ina June 1926 in Carnoustie. They then travelled to Bombay, India where he worked as a Clerk with Jute Industries,before returning to Fife.
He was the brother of Pte Andrew Gardiner Kinnear, 88971, 14th Company, Machine Gun Corps, who died of wounds, 20.07.1917.
