Alexander Anderson was the son of Mr William Anderson of 26 Dalgleish Street, Tayport and brother of Annie Campbell of 11 Tay Street, Tayport. He was born Broughty Ferry. HM Trawler Bradford disappeared near Kinsale Head, Ireland during a storm at sea. Twelve of his shipmates were listed as missing, presumed drowned. Alexander Anderson is named on the Chatham Naval Memorial in Kent.
