BULLET WOUND IN THE HAND.
Private J. Smart, of the 4th Black Watch, whose home is at 58 Victoria Road Dundee, was shot in the hand on 9th inst, but in a letter to his sister he states the wound is not serious. He is now lying in the Western Infirmary, Glasgow. Twenty-two years of age, he enlisted in the Fourth on the outbreak of war, and was formerly employed in Trades Lane Calender.
