Alexander Wright Ettle 2529 Black Watch
DUNDEE SOUTH AFRICAN VETERAN WOUNDED.
Lance-Corporal A. W. Ettle, of the 4th Black Watch, whose wife resides at 7 Mid Street, Dundee, has been wounded. Lance-Corporal Ettle joined the 4th Black Watch in September of last year. He took part in the latter stages of the South African campaign. Ettle has been wounded in the left hand, and has lost one of his fingers. He was formerly in the employment of Mr John R. Mitchell, Italian warehouseman, Nethergate, Dundee.
